About Me
My first job in TV news was as a ‘one man band’ reporter, which included everything from shooting high school football games to editing news stories, even running tapes and prompter for newscasts. We did it all! This was during two of the coldest winters on record in Alexandria, Minnesota but the experience was invaluable. I moved on to the La Crosse, Wisconsin and Cedar Rapids, Iowa markets serving in reporting, producing and anchoring positions.
Today, I enjoy working in a niche focusing on community news for nine Minneapolis suburbs.
The updated recycling program, a new Wisdom and Wellness studio and the nuts and bolts of snow removal- these are the types of stories I tell.
There’s a great nugget to learn in all of them.
